Case Study

Mini brand identity for BookZone Club

BookZone Club runs reading and leadership programs for children in Nigerian schools. I built their full brand system , logo, stationery, merchandise, out-of-home ads, and ongoing social content , as one connected identity.

Step 1

Building a logo that works everywhere

BookZone Club runs reading and leadership programs for children in schools. I stepped in as their embedded brand and design partner and built their full system, logo,stationery,merchandise,out-of-home ads,and ongoing social content as one connected identity,so every touchpoint feels like it comes from the same organization.

Stationery that feels playful, not corporate
Step 2

Taking it into stationery

Business cards, staff ID cards, and letterhead needed to feel like the same brand as the backpacks, professional enough for a school meeting, still warm enough for a kids' organization.

Step 3

Designing merchandise kids actually want

Fun, practical school bags and lunch boxes designed for kids to enjoy and use every day.

Merch designed to be worn, not just branded

Step 4

Taking the brand outdoors

"Positioning your child for the Future" became the anchor line for out-of-home, tested across a bus shelter billboard and a framed hallway poster, in both purple and red variants.

Step 5

Keeping social consistent, year-round

Registration flyers, Easter, International Women's Day, and Christmas/New Year, every seasonal post still reads as BookZone first, holiday second.

  • Registration flyer built to convert parents directly
  • Seasonal posts (Easter, Women's Day, New Year) tied back to reading and family
  • Same purpe and gold palette and logo lockup, every time

Color Palette
Signature Purple
#6D0DD3
The brand's home color , logo grounds, stationery, OOH, social backgrounds.
Signature Gold
#FDCE00
The "glasses" accent color , reserved for the logo's eyes/eyebrows and key highlights.
Mustard
#D08327
Secondary merch colorway , the alternate backpack, warmer and more grounded than gold.
Alert Red
#E12D2E
High-contrast OOH variant , swapped in for placements that need to stop foot traffic fast.
Ink Black
#0A0A0A
Mono lockups, letterhead type, and any surface where color can't print reliably.
Paper White
#FFFFFF
Negative space and reversed lockups , keeps the mark legible on any dark ground.
Typography
Display / Headlines
Make Your Child Shine
Chunky rounded extra-bold
Closest published match to the hand-built lettering feel , thick, rounded terminals that echo the logo's custom type. Carries every headline and hero statement.
Callouts / CTAs
Register Now
Bubble-lettered accent
Used sparingly , badges, stickers, "Register Now," "Every Week." Playful enough for a kids' brand without competing with the headline weight.
Body / UI
Helping every child fall in love with reading.
Clean geometric sans
Body copy, contact details, and stationery , a calmer register that keeps dense text legible next to the louder display type.
Logo System
